  • The UK contractor will adopt the Forco name and a new corporate strategy, with productivity targets set through 2030.
  • Mace Construct will keep its current name until the New Year before rebranding as Forco. The contractor says the change follows its separation from Mace Consult and will come with a new strategy and productivity targets through 2030.

Mace Construct will continue to trade under its current name until the New Year before adopting the Forco name, the UK contractor has said. The business described the new name as short, distinctive and easy to pronounce, and said it would be introduced with a new corporate strategy and productivity targets through 2030.

Separation from Mace Consult

The rebrand follows the March separation of Mace Construct and Mace Consult. Under the agreement between the two businesses, Mace Consult retained the Mace brand, while the contracting arm is preparing to operate under a new identity.

Mark Reynolds, executive chair, said Mace Construct had spent 35 years improving standards and helping the construction industry advance. He said the Forco name represented a commitment to becoming the UK’s most forward-thinking contractor and its most productive by 2030.

Reynolds added that the company’s culture, values and people would remain central after the change. He said clients could expect the same teams, the same commitment to delivery and the same focus on creating places and infrastructure that last.

The existing Mace Construct name will remain in use until the New Year. Forco will then become the contractor’s trading name, with a new corporate strategy and productivity targets through 2030.
