Chairman points to rural reach, cricket tie-up and CV launches

Chairman Onkar Kanwar said growth across categories in India had been supported by sustained rural expansion efforts and the company's strategic association with cricket. He added that new product launches in the commercial vehicle segment in India had strengthened performance during the past quarter.

Kanwar also flagged external pressure, stating that geopolitical tensions in West Asia remain a headwind, resulting in elevated input costs and supply chain disruptions. The statement did not quantify the impact of those factors on costs or margins.

The board approved the appointment of Ravi Kumar Shingari as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 4, 2026. Shingari joined Apollo Tyres in 2018 as Group Head, Finance, and has held responsibilities across budgeting, accounts and investor relations; more recently he was given additional responsibility for legal.
